Getting started

Documentation

Everything you need to set up and run your business in On Site & Ready — from your first login to your first paid invoice.

Quick start

  1. Sign up and pick a trade configuration. During onboarding you'll enter your business name, address, timezone, and currency, then choose from 25 trade presets — plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, landscaping, pest control, locksmith and the rest. The preset sets your job terminology, default services, custom fields and workflow stages. None of it is permanent: workflow stages are editable under Settings, and the terminology and fields follow the trade configuration you can adjust afterwards.
  2. Set your working hours and preferences. Under Settings → Preferences, set your weekly working hours and holidays (these drive the "find next available slot" helper and the public booking page's lead-time check), your default tax rate, invoice/estimate due periods, and accepted payment methods.
  3. Add your first customer and property. Create a customer, then add one or more properties (addresses) under them. See Customers & Properties.
  4. Create a job. From the customer's page or the Jobs list, create a job, assign a team member, and move it through your workflow stages as work progresses. See Jobs & Workflow.
  5. Quote and invoice. Build an estimate, have the customer approve and e-sign it from their portal link, convert it to a job, and invoice once the work is done. See Estimates & Invoicing.
  6. Invite your team. Add teammates by email under Team; they set their own password on first login. See Team, Roles & Permissions.
  7. Share your booking link. Every business gets a public booking page (found under Settings → General) that anyone can use to request an appointment — no login required. See Scheduling & Dispatch.

Getting started

Set the business up and bring your existing records across.

Doing the work

Jobs from the moment they arrive to the moment they are signed off.

Customers & their kit

Who you work for, where, and what you look after for them.

Stock & vehicles

What you hold, where it is, and what you buy.

Your people

Who can do what, what they are owed, and how you reach them.

Growing & automating

The parts that run without you, and the parts that bring work in.

Who does what

The platform ships with three default roles you can rename, edit, or delete — Manager, Office Staff, and Technician — plus a fixed, non-editable Owner role. Permissions are fully custom per business: a Manager can be given (or stripped of) any of 37 granular permissions covering jobs, customers, estimates, invoices, payments, inventory, purchasing, subcontractors, timesheets, pay rates, accounting, marketing, team management, reports, and business settings. See Team, Roles & Permissions for the full permission model.
